Story: Jiang Shun (Acted by Liu Kai-Chi) is a slow-witted man who works in a small restaurant with his younger brother, Jiang Kao Lik (Acted by Jovi Theng) in a peaceful and beautiful village named Sekinchan. As much as Kao Lik wants to leave the village and pursue his dream in the city, he cannot bear to leave his brother alone. However, their life changes when Jiang Kao Lik found an abandoned baby girl and decided to let Jiang Shun adopt as his own in hope that this little girl will take good care of ‘her father’ when she grows up. Being slow and innocent, Jiang Shun was more of a best friend to the little girl , Jiang Chong Ming (Acted by Emily Kong). Nevertheless, the strong and loving bond between the father and daughter was no longer when Chong Ming grows up and encounters endless humiliation from her friends. She becomes a rebellious teenager and her resentment for her father multiplies day by day. Their relationship becomes even more complicated when Chong Ming’s biological mother reappears in the scene, now a wealthy woman who has a boy toy in his 20s, seeing the possibility that the young girl may threaten his position to his lover’s wealth, he plans an ill fate for the young girl.
