In a strategy shift by Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook to reach a broader range of customers around the world, Apple Inc.had unveiled new iPhone 5c, a cheaper version that come in 5 bright colors and also the high-end iPhone 5s at the Apple campus on September 10, 2013 in Cupertino, California.

The high-end iPhone 5s will come in 3 colors for you to choose that including gold, black and silver which will cost USD $199 for the 16GB version, with 32GB and 64GB models running $299 and $399 respectively with a contract. According to Apple’s online store, the iPhone 5s will costs USD $649 to $849 without a contract. This iPhone 5s is crafted in high-grade aluminum with chamfered edges. For a brand new feature in iPhone 5s, the phone features a 170-micron-thick sensor with a 500 ppi resolution built into the Home button that will biometrically let you enter into the phone. Apple calls it Touch ID, building the feature directly into the operating system. This means that you can use the feature to buy stuff off iTunes securely, assuming no one else has access to your fingertips. Besides, inside the heart of iPhone 5s, you will find a 64-bit A7 processor that features twice the number of transistors as its predecessor that promise speeds twice as fast.

The iPhone 5C, which has a plastic casing and a 4-inch screen, will come in blue, green, pink, yellow and white for USD $99 with a contract. Without a contract, the 16GB version will cost $549 and the 32GB version will cost $649.

Apple also refurbished its mobile software with the introduction of iOS 7 which will be available for free starting 18th September. The new upgraded iOS 7 includes new picture-sharing, sounds features and an iTunes radio feature.

According to Apple’s online store. both iPhone 5s and 5c can be pre-ordered starting 13th September and it will start hitting Apple stores on the 20th September in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore and the UK. In December, that list will expand to include more than 100 countries.

For the release in Malaysia at Switch outlets, it will be available by 31 October 2013 and iPhone 5s is priced from RM2399 while the cheaper version iPhone 5c is priced from RM1999. More details of all iPhone pricing are listed as below.
