Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Goes Missing



Breaking News! Malaysia Airlines (MAS) confirms that flight MH370 had lost contact with Subang Air Traffic Control tower at 2.40 am early this morning (8 March 2014).

The flight departed from KLIA at 12.41 am and on route to Beijing, China. MH370 flight was scheduled to land Beijing International Airport at 6.30 am local Beijing time. This missing flight was operated on a Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

The affected flight was carrying a total number of 227 passengers and 12 crew members. The passengers were from 14 different nationalities and details breakdown are listed as below.

- China: 152 plus 1 infant
- Malaysia: 38
- Indonesia: 12
- Australia: 7
- USA: 3 plus 1 infant
- France: 3
- Canada: 2
- Ukraine: 2
- New Zealand: 2
- Russia: 1
