Story: Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To. The original film’s directors, brothers Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given. It’s been exactly 20 years since we left Lloyd and Harry playing tag, and everything but their idiocy has changed. When the new-kidney-needing Harry learns that he has a daughter out there, he must snap Lloyd out of the “comatose” state he’s been in since Mary’s rejection and hit the road to request her help. Crisscrossing the country in insane transportation, their journey to find her will take them from a mental institution—where they belong—to a summit that is playing host to the world’s most brilliant minds.
